Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tour packages and itineraries for outbound and inbound tours based on client requirements and market trends. 
- Research and select vendors, suppliers, and accommodations options to ensure high quality services and competitive pricing. 
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners, including hotels, transportation providers, and local tour operators. 
- Coordinate all logistics for tours, including transportation, accommodation, sightseeing activities, and any necessary travel documentation. 
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, provide recommendations, and handle any inquiries or issues before, during and after the tour. 
- Manage a team of tour guides, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service and smooth tour operations. 
- Stay updated on industry developments, travel technologies, and best practices to enhance tour operations and customer satisfaction. 
- Monitor tour budgets and expenses, ensuring profitability and cost-effective operations. 
- Plan, organize and execute MICE events, including meetings, conferences, incentive trips, and corporate events, from inception to completion. 
Education/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tour Manager or in a similar role, with a strong background in outbound and inbound tour operations. 
- In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and tourism trends. 
- Familiarity with booking systems, reservation software, and travel management tools. 
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and partners. 
- Problem solving skills to address unexpected situations and provide timely solutions. 
- Proficient in using computer applications, including MS Office and travel booking platforms.
